As I understand it, TPL has thousands of reverse-engineered products showing where and which patents are infringed. In the event that such evidence can be placed before a German court, for example with BMW/Mercedes(it only takes a single processor, in my very humble opinion)then injunctive relief can be sought.

To suggest that a patent holder could simply waltz into a German court and shut down a company for merely holding a patent is at best spurious, for example using United States Patent 5053403 against BMW/Mercedes.

Common sense dictates that there must be supporting evidence.

Preliminary injunctions may be granted within few days or weeks if the applicant can furnish clear proof

to show that the patent is being infringed and if it is certain, or there is no substantial doubt, that the

patent is valid. Injunctions are dealt with in court proceedings that are separate from the action on the

merits.
