The beauty of having the patent so recently confirmed lies in the ability of Alliacense to request impounding any and all products using the infringed patent.
This includes not only products for the home market already in place awaiting sale, but also those for export and import.
As German law requires that manufacturers/assemblers be aware of potential infringement of unlicensed patents, this gives Alliacense the high ground in negotiating a suitable license fee. Please bear in mind that a claim can be made against an infringing company's revenue, not just profits.
Perhaps this is what what being alluded to with the "supply chain disruption" statement?
Be well
