Joe Mierwa, of Crossflo is staying on top of things.

''The NIEM developer and implementer participants invited to this meeting represented public and private developer organizations that have been known to be heavily involved in the efforts to apply the NIEM to real-life exchange scenarios. Some participants have been working on implementing specific exchanges and others on the introduction of NIEM into products that provide NIEM exchange services.''
