What did the company say in public?!

As I said yesterday, we are missing the final facts on the topic, if there's more to come from the J3 or not and I cannot remember any information from PTSC besides the following regarding the J3-topic

"I will not, in the limited context of this letter, recount all the information contained in our April 9, 2008 earnings release, which fully reflects the financial results of all transactions announced prior to the end of January 2008."

"Under the terms of our licensing agreements, all of our MMP™ portfolio license agreements are confidential and the individual terms of any agreement cannot be publicly disclosed."

I don't want to start a new discussion about this, but the phrase, which is widely used here on this board ("definitely nothing more to come") is not what I understand from the ONLY official statement I know of (private answers to shareholders are NOT official).

To make my point 100% clear:

If I owe you $100, give you $50 and the other $50 are to come later, then the financial result of all transactions is $50. That's what really happened and not what was agreed - and if you read the second paragraph above, I wouldn't be allowed to tell anybody, there would more to come.

I remember someone asked the company, if there were any contingency clauses, which was denied by the IR of PTSC. Again: As long as there is no official statement, I LIKE THE IDEA of a great connection between USPTO-results and hundreds of million dollars flowing to PTSC....lol

As SGE said: For some it's still a valid possibility, because we don't find the existing "facts" to be that convincing.

Let's all focus on some big positive surprises - glta
