SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 27, 1997--Patriot Scientific Corp. (OTC BB:PTSC) Monday announced that it has successfully completed a research contract and will receive an expanded follow-on development contract with the Office of Naval Research for the company's patented ionized gas antenna.
Patriot's ionized gas antenna is used to transmit and receive radio frequency (RF) signals for potential stealth communications. Unlike resonating metallic antennae, Patriot's patented
technology allows RF devices to go undetected immediately after transmission. This technological breakthrough eliminates unwanted ringing, making signal processing easier and untraceable.
In order to complete the contract and comply with Naval criteria, Patriot constructed and tested ionized gas antenna prototypes and met the following standards: antenna characterization, field radiation patterns, transmission and reception of RF signals, noise floor tests and detection
