After reading the patent numerous times I think I may understand claim 8. It helps to read claim 5 first.
<5. The method of claim 3 further including the step of: transferring information to and from said microprocessor in synchrony with said ring oscillator system clock.
If my understanding of claim 5 is correct, the microprocessor communicates asynchronously (a form of synchronization) with interface 432 and in sync with RO sys clock. The outside world communicates with interface 432 based on external FF clock. Soooooo from that can we say RO sys clock is in synch with interface 432 and external FF clock is in synch with interface 432? And if both clocks are synchronized to interface 432, would that mean they are synchronous with each other?
It's the only way I can reconcile claim 8. Anyone have a different understanding of claim 8? Opty
