As I recall from the last SHM a merger was a solution to balance a "large" cash settlement from an infringer(s). PTSC would also consider a company with tax credits that PTSC could use. So there is not just the issue of buying/merging with a profitable company, there is the issue of paying/not paying taxes on PTSC's profit. If the court rules in our favor we will need a huge tax relief. Could this be a factor in the search for a public company? Is a court settlement in our favor anticipated? Is RG just planning for the best case scenario? I hope so and that there is a real need to buy/merger with a public company.
