There is little doubt that much of the MMP value is held within the 336 and 148 patents. Certainly not all value, but enough whereby if they came out of the USPTO as much weaker patents, the value of an MMP license would be drastically different.

So, with the USPTO, finally moving on the reexams, is it a good idea to shell out a huge lump sum that I will not get back, or pay on the installment plan which I can stop somewhere along they way if I have to? Hmmmm. Wouldn't that be a no-brainer?
