I don't disagree and a public flogging would be the last resort. In light of how much control they maintain sometimes drastic measures are needed to oust those who have an iron grip. The compensation paid is absolutely absurd and completely out of line with their performance. They have no incentive to work towards. Their options are priced so low who gives a damn if the company makes it or not. When people like Gloria, Helmut and CJ make almost as much as members sitting on US Steel's BOD there is a big problem.
