First, your tone appears a bit harsh to me, second I don't see, where I made "pseudo-absolute statements" (please see my "understand"), third I was simply asking, if TPL would be surprised by the examiner's points - nothing else...
Puh, if I'm too old-fashioned thinking a friendly or at least neutral tone should be the fundament of every discussion, then I prefer to be old-fashioned.
