I do have to make one (shameful) observation. Though the statements of certain licensees to their subtier customers (e.g., see TPL for license) suggest that we have included restrictive language in our licenses with 1st tier suppliers (e.g., Fujitsu), the recent PRs/Letters from PTSC do NOT suggest this is the case. They suggest work-arounds. This surprises me.

I would think that if TPL were confident in the protections of their contract language to 1st tier, this would have been suggested in the Letter. Perhaps this is only because their confidence level doesn't amount to a "slam dunk".

Just an observation....
