"Patent re-examinations for '148, '336, '584 and '749 - Late last year the USPTO began the patent re-examination process for four key patents in the MMP portfolio. This is a time consuming detailed process that can take months, even years. The company cannot forcast the progress nor the eventual outcome."

This looks to be a general statement from RG. I can understand how some of the patents needing clarification or appeals could take longer. As I recall Moore/TPL/PTSC provided some clarification for the 148 and 584 patents.

Is RG talking fiscal year or calendar year? I was under the impression that we were at least in the second year of the patent re-examination process. I thought the patents were under USPTO review for the entire time we were fighting the J's . Late last year to me indicates the patent re-examinations didn't begin until October-December 2007. How can this be?

All the best,

Steve
