Good idea in principle, not practical.

Most of the CEOs have no idea where the engineers come up with all the bits and pieces that make up a finished product. Many times consumer products are just line extensions and many products are generations away from the original.

Where it makes sense is for the arsewholes who knowingly nicked another companies IP.
