If MMP was only one patent, then it would be relatively easier for downstream end users to know whether any parts they are obtaining and putting together contained any of the patented IP. But the MMP is several patents. How would they ever be able to know for sure that any parts they buy from non-licensees contain the IP and are not licensed? Seems to me that the downstreamers would actually see more value in having the MMP license as compared to a chip maker. That way they do not have to concern themselves about what part and from whom and whether the IP is contained in any of the unlicensed parts. Is my thinking faulty? Opty
