The Settlement MOU

Going back to something I previously suggested. Perhpas we did not really know how much settlement should be for and the reason for the MOU. As perviously stated, Toshiba's late document dump in Japanese made that difficult, if not impossible in the time allowed. Now it seems unlikely we could have tied a past and future price to JVC. The new merged company does not yet know what market it will target, hence what products they will sell. So how did we calculate what JVC should pay? The merger negotiations began in July 2007, so it not like it wasn't an anticipated event during settlement negotiations. Are we sure that settlement grant of a license is not temporary? Opty
