I did not get the sense from him when he was CEO, or from what I heard from people that knew him/of him, that he anticipated leaving after nine months. Coupling that with the abruptness of his departure and RG's hire, I assumed he was forced to leave, rather than him resigning, and the BOD finding a replacement.
