It has been a tough pill to swallow.....when we fell below .50, then .40 and now .30. Geesh!
I, myself, am not a big fan of the share buyback and have expressed so before. Like others, I do not believe they can repurchase enough shares to have an impact on share price. It might diminish total outstanding a bit, but it also depletes a much needed cash reserve if M&A is to be successful.
However, at this stage in the game and at this price range....cannot their brokerage house be instructed to purchase shares on the open market when certain thresholds have been broken, e.g. 30 cents. At this critical time....critical because we are at 30 cents give or take.....I think it is managements responsibility to be monitoring share price and do what they can to protect shareholders interest by supporting this 30 cent price threshold. With such relatively low volume...I see no reason why they do not purchase at the ask especially near the close.
And if they cannot do it, I expect someone else here to do it. LOL good luck
