Real simple - to protect their compliance with the CC. They can't (supposedly) say anything about it - they didn't - they waddled around it with "creative" language, IMO.

Someday, hopefully soon, the lights will be turned on and we'll get a true look at what has happened, or not. Then all the specualtion will end, and we'll know who made the best guess about how many jelly beans are in that jar. Assuming they are in fact jelly beans, and that is a jar. Did I just suggest that we are all a bunch of bean counters? LOL

That day cannot come soon enough for me.
