Well Bluewing, I certainly hope it's "that simple". It implies that there may indeed be contingencies based on the USPTO review, however it could take many months from now before we get even one ruling. It's hard to believe TPL/PTSC would want to wait an indeterminate amount of time before they collect on a settlement(s), but you never know. RIMM is a potentially HUGE licensee, at least it should be. Why would we even want to license such a behemouth without validation from the PTO. I know I wouldn't, I'd go after all the little fish and low hanging fruit before approaching a gorilla.
