Irresponsible? Would a responsible person stand fast in a role where he, at his own indirect admission, is completely ineffective? A role where, if abandoned, an extremely strong message would have been made to all concerned?

Misleading? Read again his flat dismissal of any other explanations for what may be going on. Read again his explanation for the MOU.
