Corporate lawyer? And you can't recognize that a trade based on a complete unknown is NOT insider trading?

Gosh, the other day it was reported that there is a 99% chance of a 6.5+ earthquake hitting somewhere in CA sometime in the next thirty years. This could be devastating to PTSC/TPL - after all, all their employees could potentially be killed in such a disaster, and all licensing would stop. Now, recognizing these facts, should PTSC and its officers be restricted from trading? Selling? Should PTSC disclose these specific facts to shareholders? IMO, per your "judgment", this would be "Material".
