What will be, will be...

I'm still cautious about April 9th, my gut tells me the game ain't over yet. IF they announce a new licensee tomorrow or something new and exciting, THEN I would expect the end of the game, but if they don't, I doubt (though I hope it!) the numbers alone will install a new and higher base for the shareprice.
The main reason for my skeptizism is: it still bothers me, that the number 1 Negative on the Dutton list reads (from the beginning of the Dutton Reports):
"The number of outstanding shares is very high at approximately 391.5 million. "
So far PTSC solved all the negative issues from this list - which indicates that this list was/is PTSC's way to show the market at which issues they are working at - and I'm sure, they neither "forgot" about the high OS nor were/are they incapable or incompetent to find a solution for this. But obviously there was no need or no chance to reduce the OS through purchasing back a significant number of shares since October 2006.
Thus there are only following possibilities left to get rid of this problem:
- PTSC buys back a hell of shares in the next months = this would mean, PTSC had to spend a lot of money for the buyback instead for M&A aquisitions
- someone bought back shares at great low prices for PTSC in the last three months = interesting theory, but might just be that = an interesting theory
- they realize a reverse split 1:2 or 1: 4 = would only work well for the company, if they are able to let it follow a lot of activities and once they stepped to NASDAQ are doing a Forward Split
Though I always thought 400mio shares are NO issue, the repeating pointing at this by Dutton is something I had to scratch my head since months. Because IMO it's the last REAL negative on Dutton's list, the rest (predictability of income) is nada. And as long they have no answer to this, I'm not confident we reached the end of this long and winding road...
My wife is visiting her sister next week and I really would love to welcome her next Friday with great news (she was asking today: "What's Patriot doing?" as I only could repeat myself like I did in the last years: "Something exciting MIGHT happen next week"...and you can imagine her answer to this sentence...;-))
Nevertheless: It's only money and thus NOTHING important compared to family and health - take care!
