On my wish list for 4/9

In addition to things like "Swartz lets us run" and many other things, one thing I'd really like to see stated in associated PRs is something like:

"To date, our patented technology has been licensed to less than 10% of the population on probable infringing entities placed on notice, and the respective value of each new license continues to increase."

Such language would provide prospective investors with a real gauge of our potential. And if the number of companies/probable infringers has increased over the last year (when the number was 485), mention of the current number of unlicensed probable infringers on notice would just add to the perceived potential. Is it unrealistic to suspect that there are another 100-200 companies placed on notice? More? Many more?

IMO, there are easily well over a thousand infringers out there. Just think about some of the "names" we've seen acquiring a license. Ever heard of them before?

So maybe that quote I generated above could read:

"To date, our patented technology has been licensed to less than 5% of the population on probable infringing entities placed on notice, and the respective value of each new license continues to increase."

BTW, in this quote, the word "respective" is intended to mean "respective of their level/amount/longevity of infringement".

I suppose a relevant question is whether they can continue to issue notices. Anyone KNOW for sure, one way or the other? I know there have been changes to patent law in this regard, but do they affect us (or only patents issued after a certain specified date, past or future)?

JMHOs,
