brian,

``If he is referring to the 20-30 Mil shares we have already committed in advance of this Share increase vote``

Where have I lost track of things? I thought our fully committed outstanding was around 399 million. Where did these 20-30 million additional come from.

I respectfully disagree with the way this situation should be handled, although the outcome may be the same. This company has granted options for the longest time with no incentices related to those options. In other words, the upper management has been rewarded for failure...for a long time. Now, we may or may not be on the brink of actually accomplishing things. And you want upper management to take a pay cut. I don`t like the psychological implications there. I say instead, take away all their old options, and give them new ones based on incentives. I know we probably can`t ``legally`` do this. And I`m sure certain people would scream bloody murder. But first of all, it doesn`t take money out of their paycheck - no lifesyle change required. It also gives us access to shares that were committed previously - maybe enough to erase the need for ANY share increase. I don`t know, I`m not up to date on the numbers. And it also would put into place what should have been in place previously - an option plan that the employees actually have to earn, not be given each year.

I know, a pipe dream. But this is what I would do if I were king.
