What am I missing? My recollection with Forgent is that it was holding strong all through '03 to '06 ($1.50 to $2.50 with spikes above $3) until the May 26, 2006 USPTO rejection. Even then, it didn't get crushed share price wise until a month later, when it got a 50% haircut. But that was AFTER the USPTO rejection. Can you clarify your post as it seems to indicate that the price hit 40 cents BEFORE the USPTO decision?
PTSC is not there yet, and in fact seems to be on the path to maintaining valid patents from what most say. But the share price reflects as though the USPTO already rejected the patents and as though PTSC hasn't made any money along the way.
I'm hoping that provided April numbers confirm a decent settlement with the J's (numbers better than what Fujitsu & HP paid), then the market will begin to allow for the successes PTSC has had and reflect it in the PPS. The USPTO process shouldn't be such a serious negative UNLESS and UNTIL they reject the patents.
