THe same situation occured with Ameritrade when I was trading another OTC stock (EDIG).  They halted online buys via their website.  All "buy" orders needed to be placed throught a broker.  Sell orders and closing of the position was available online.  The reason:  suspicious trading activity.  After aprox. 2 months, the situation was resolved (in respect to online buys).  During that 2 month period, the stock tanked 60%.
