I remember watching CNBC around 2000 while on the tread mill.....Some young kid had his own financial web-site and put out false news about this CO...His words were SELL......He shorted the stock and it fell something like from 125 bucks to around 50 bucks......Please do not hold me anywhere near to those figures......Well the kid made about 300k........The CEO who was based in Calif and sleeping while this all happened , came on to CNBC..He said it was all lies and could back it up.....The price i believe did go back to the orig price......The poor saps who paniced and sold on that bogus news.....

While we might not get bogus news here we sometime get bogus interpretations of the facts.......It can be just as deadly....
