This is from an old article going back to when trial was moved from Calif to Texas.  Within the article it mentions the 3 patents:

 Moore Microprocessor Patent(TM) (MMP) Portfolio, specifically

• U.S. 5,784,584: Multiple Instruction Fetch
• U.S. 5,809,336: Clocking CPU and I/O Separately
• U.S. 6,598,148: Use of Multiple Cores and Embedded Memory

Does the writer know what he/she is talking about with the description of the 148?  I'm guessing that the use of multiple cores, would necessarily require sufficient embedded memory as to infringe on the 148.  If this is so, then perhaps the 148 is more important than we, or at least I, thought.   Comments?   Opty
