I am not suggesting that Intel buy out PTSC. I don`t believe they can.(AMD would block)They could however buyout TPL which would not be good for us. But AMD cannot leave us because then they become vulnerable.

TPL/PTSC alliance would do no harm to Intel or AMD, but they do need to pay royalties, so how is that a give away?
