Read something in the Sunday paper about a signer making a video in which there would be microchips controlling the fireworks.  I certainly was aware that computers were necessary to set fireworks off to music.  I was not aware that they were now putting chips inside the fireworks.   Interesting.   Opty

• A relatively recent development in firework manufacturing is the use of microchips embedded in the shell that direct the sparks into a particular shape. Fireworks that produce smiley-faces in the sky are so directed by microchips.
