Reading the posts, after having been gone for a few days, is alarming. 

In trying to decide whether I feel dejected, saddened, confused, perplexed, embarrassed, angry, etc., I guess it is all of these.

While I don’t expect to read apolologies here, it does seem many are due. Hopefully, at the very least, an amelioration of attitudes will prevail.
