IMO, up until the Markman and the 3 J's "settlement", the amounts paid by infringers was close to an annoyance amount. Less than court costs and far less than a court loss would have cost the infringer. A wise business choice for the possible infringement. I was hoping that the Markman and 3 J's would take future negotiations to the next level up (higher fees for license.) However, with the silence of dollar amounts, this is not possible. Since the only people who know the amounts are the insiders, I would be very leery of any taking of the company private, since they are the only ones who truely know what they own. LOL. Doc
