Actually, I believe we have a majority of BoD members that "bring something to the party".  They are JT, Dr. Nick, Flowers, Johnson and Pohl.

JT and Dr. Nick due to their knowledge, contacts and respect in the industry, and their ability to communicate.

Flowers due to his Finance expertise.

Johnson for finance expertise, and also for his background in working for/with Swartz.  Swartz ain't stupid, and I'm certain that Johnson learned a few things - not only in "offensive" mode, but also in "defensive" mode.  He KNOWS what to look for, and what to look out for, IMO.

Pohl because I think he is a smart guy, and was undoubtedly the "sponsor" of the Holocom deal, which I think was a smart move.

I also believe that all these guys are probably like-minded, reducing internal conflict (to zero? - because I believe Falk Jr. and Gloria would just "go with the flow").  I also believe all these folks are most interested in growing the company and increasing the PPS.  And I believe that Swartz has very little to no influence on anything in company decision-making (though, IMO, any advise he offers should be kindly accepted and carefully considered - listen to smart people!).
