From Turley's article this week:

"“We now have income in the tens of millions of dollars per year to invest in new businesses and technology.”"

If you read this sentence several times, you could come to the conclusion, there will be recurring revenues besides the licence fees...maybe this is one reason, we didn't see a settlement yet: TPL/PTSC want a big sum upfront AND royalties and this takes time to determine the requirements... IMHO.
