Cause he knew that the little guy would have went to another giant and sold it to him and the first giant would have been out of business.

True story. Moral of the story. When you have what they need, they have to pay your price. Or they are SOOL and business. The little company (private), in this story, also has a technology that will be needed by all to compete.
