Bigplay.  Some good points.  But you might want to consider this question.   If TPL is under pressure to settle, why agree to the 30 day stay, but apparently not with an extension of the stay?  Why not a joint motion for some additional time?  Better chance of judge Ward approving some additional time if both sides are asking for it.  Right?  Opty
