I'm not sure why or who's mix up this, but if you read the Daewoo PR on the Alliacence site, and your read the Daewoo PR on the PTSC site, they state two different sets of stats. The Alliacense PR says they're the 24th license vs 26th in PTSC PR. Secondly, the Alliacense site says 205 of the licenses have been sold since the Markman while the PTSC PR says 30%.
This kind of thing chaps my a$$, in that the PR's are really the main source of communication. I assume TPL/Alliacense is correct since they're the ones doing the signings. It's possible it has something to do with the AMD & Intel signings done pre vs post unification of the MMP, but it seems to me that there shouldn't be a discrepancy in the PR's that we should have to figure out. This communication should be clear, not confusing, and perhaps the typical person wouldn't look at both PR's but when you do, at first glance, it appears as though someone is fudging the facts. I wish they would be consistent accross the PR's.
