No, you are not the only one thinking that. My thoughts are that since Intel and AMD have implicitly increased the odds (at least in my mind) of proving that infringement has occured, thru their license agreements, it opens up the field for licensing with others. Even if we lose the ownership dispute other infringing parties may be inclined to sign licensing agreements under the auspices that if they don`t, one day PTSC and Moore et al may join forces to enforce the patent (that would only make sense). A license now may be a lot cheaper than signing one later under those circumstances.
