Like i said before.... the price of the Daewoo license was probably already agreeded and settled weeks or a few months ago.  Its not like TPL and Daewoo CEO have red direct phones to make urgent calls to each other when their is a development in the case.......decisions are not made and acted in 1 day....

Daewoo probably signed the deal weeks ago..and perhaps the payment was received and thus announced.   

TPL should be working on signing more companies while the stay is on...... should they fold their arms and wait on the sidelines?  The stay is only relevant for the case against these Japanese companies..not the other potential customers.  Other companies that will pay now..they should pay now.  Whats happening in the courts does not affect the other customers..(right now).

 TPL will continue to approach and negotiate with companies before, during, and after the court case...they will not sit and watch and hope the courts move fast in their favor.

If TPL settles with the Japanese companies....not sure that it would eliminate the first mover discount...that is unless the Patent office confirms the validation of the patents.

When Fujuistu settled..... did the price per license go up??  Not sure we can answer that.... but you still see first mover discounts...
