It seems the prevailing view is that news (of a settlement) will definitely come next week.  While I am firmly in the camp that believes the stay was for purposes of finalizing a settlement, many factors could prevent its completion next week, and/or its release by TPL/PTSC.  Continued foot-dragging and intransigence from the J's, home office bureaucracy, JW's signoff, etc., etc.

I think kiddtrader said not to count the chickens just yet.  I agree.  News will come in due course, and I don't think the 30-day stay expiration will necessarily determine its timing. 

I am optimistic, however, that TPL will publicize a settlement, when completed, in a timely and aggressive manner, as was done with the Markman results, to bring the notified infringers to the table.   I would be very happy with a PR before the opening bell tomorrow, lol, but certainly not expecting it.
