Not all of NEC licensed the MMP. NEC America didn't so the question is why? Also, NEC only uses the ARM7TDMI-S core, whereas Toshiba for example uses the ARM7TDMI-S, ARM926EJ-S, ARM946E-S, and ARM1026EJ-S. JMHO Good luck to you, me, us, and all longs.
