While the current litigation is about the '148 and '336 patents, my analogy with a firearm license still holds true(Massachusetts, The Class A LTC allows the ownership of any capacity handgun, or longarm, even if the intent is to only ever possess a handgun), it is the PORTFOLIO that is licensed and NOT individual patents therein.
A sticking point might be the '584.
