Not a dumb question at all.  The '584 has a long road to travel through the appeals process.  IF, by some stretch of the imagination, the Stay has to do with the re-exam - it would have to do with the re-exams in process at the USPTO, those being the '148 and the '336 (with most attention directed to the '336).  Those would be the patents that could affect this case (the '584 is basically out).
