You seem to be getting hung up on the reason for the cancellation. There could be 100 legitimate positive and negative reasons for him to cancel. It's all speculation there and is independent of what I've been referring to.
You say I have no real evidence. The evidence is the action of scheduling and then cancelling. That's it. Not some justifiable or not justifiable reason for cancelling.
Also, it's not that he scheduled it a week before, and then had to cancel due to developments, he scheduled it in the morning and cancelled in the afternoon. If the webcast was "unnecessary" as you state, what business does the CEO have scheduling it at this particular time - 5 days after a stay that all think is geared toward settlements.
That he put himself and the company in the position where he scheduled a major public interaction, and then hours later had to cancel it, and then that he didn't cancel it with any finessing, is the issue. That's an unprofessional action, and poor coordination and management of information, plain and simple. And with so many eyes on PTSC at this very moment is a bad time to act that way. I'm not saying HE's unprofessional or a poor manager, just this particular action. That you can't distinguish the difference leads me to think you feel the need to paint everything with a rose colored brush.
I have many good reasons to believe that PTSC can and will prevail, and that Turley is the right guy for the company now, and possibly the future. That doesn't mean he's perfect, nor does it mean if you criticize an action, that you think he's inept.
There, the horse is dead. I've clearly killed it several times, lol. If you feel the need to beat it some more, be my guest, but you're on your own.
