Early Oct, I called my Broker, Ameritrade.

Within a week I received a corrrected 1099.

My Tax Preparer prepared the necessary corrections and it was sent in around 11 Oct.

I received a letter yesterday from the IRS, advising that my return (for overpayment of taxes) should be arriving in about two weeks!
