This tendency toward seeing villains around every corner is counter-productive. Why can't the situation with Swartz just be seen for what it is? Swartz is in the business of providing financing to distressed companies and leveraging their position to maximize their returns. If you were to ask them they would make no apologies for this business model as they have done quite well by it. They would also likely state that nobody held a gun to PTSC's board to sign up to the terms of the financing package. There would be no PTSC without that financing. All of you villifying Swartz are out of bounds in my opinion. I would guess also that you probably found out about those terms after purchasing PTSC shares. You are responsible for not delving into the details enough before making your investment in that case. You should recently, however, be breathing a sigh of relief because S&L influence is much-reduced albeit not completely eliminated with their remaining significant long position.
