Meeting room was downhill from self-parking lot in a larger building (club house) fronted by a circular drop-off road. Entrance was to the right, from outside. Reception table was on the left, where one signed in and was given the Rules of participation and free notepad/pen, the pen being attached to the right side of the notepad, a clear insult to southpaws which I am not. Room has three banks of individual chairs with a microphone in each of the 2 aisles. BOD was on an elevated dais. JT spoke from left side of dais, SH orientation. Projector screen to SH right.

Every hotel (La Costa) staff member outside was wearing a white mask to protect against smoke/dust - even those driving closed vans.

After the meeting closed, there were a few stretch limos outside - presumably paid for by those who have made some money out of their association with PTSC. The rest of us would have schlepped back up the hill to the self-parking lot, finding a way not to inhale any more of the smoke and ash than absolutely unavoidable.

It was the best of times, the worst of times.......
