I'm almost of the opinion that they should just give the IP to a semi Co that can R&D tools for Ignite, and let them use the IP license free for x amt of time (yrs.. forever).. just to see if the tech is what it has been claimed to be.. Philips, MOT, TI, MIPS... someone should want to give it a try. The unfortunate circumstance here is ARM is king and would probably be the most sensible fit.. You would think someone would want to take a shot at them and cut into their market. If Turley has shelved I/I, it makes me wonder... he would know.
