Is it possible that recent license agreements (which appear small in $$$) are based on a "re-occurring payment schedule? After all, JT recenlty disclosed that a re-occuring payment schedule is now an option for infringing companies. This was a change since Patriot only offered "one time" payments under Pohl. It definitely doesn't make sense to start charging "less" for licenses.
