Both parties(Plaintiff and Defendants')submitted a Tender(Prayer for Relief)to the Court. It is now for the Court(Judge and/or Jury) to make an "offer"(verdict). One or both parties are then able to "accept" the offer. In the event that there is no "meeting of the minds" of one or either party, the offer may then be challenged(Appeal). Eventually there will be an "acceptance" by both parties and the Contract will be created.
